Tremella mesenterica, commonly known as Yellow Brain Fungus, is erroneously referred to as Witches’ Butter which is the common name for Exidia glandulosa [First Nature].

Probably a Beech stump covered with a crust fungus with a bright yellow slime mould plasmodium

The fungus below looks like it could be Flammulina velutipes (Velvet Shank) – it was a damp day and the caps were slimy with a smooth sheen.
