I found this beautiful, yellow cup fungus at the allotment.

The cups are millimetres in diameter and are on rotting softwood.

A Google image search suggests a Hymenoscyphus species and at a recent Norfolk Fungus Study Group foray, this was also suggested.

After some further recent research, maybe it’s Hymenoscyphus repandus ?
