In the wooded area adjacent Lodden Road closest to village hall, we saw trees decorated with Tremella mesenterica – Yellow Brain.

We only stay for a couple of hours on the forays and always we miss some wonderful finds!

Notable were Cordyceps militaris – the Scarlet Caterpillarclub and Hypocrea atroviridis.
