Allotment Fuligo septica — June 2024

The partner messaged a photo of a Fuligo septica aethalia on the old plum tree at the allotment.

We’ve seen Fuligo septica on the plum tree before.

The next day the cortex colour had faded and was beginning to disintegrate, exposing the spore mass.

And the next day most of the cortex was gone.
