I’m interested in design – apart from being functional I like things to look nice! But then ‘nice’ is subjective…? I’m especially interested in the design of our built environment  & how new (and old) buildings can be sustainable and as energy-efficient as possible. I loved to watch Grand Designs & would wonder how with such an apparent popular interest in interestingly different modern dwellings the British house buying public’s only choice  seems to be ill-conceived, neo-Georgian pastiche.

At home Life seems to be dominated by fairies, ballet & pink. Although as time progresses this is getting less. We have an allotment where we try outwit nature in our attempts at growing organic vegetables. And when I get the chance I like rock climb & scramble up mountains. I also seem to spend to much time playing Go online.

At work I create nice spaces for people, design websites & provide architectural services.
