A collection of things that have interested me along the way.

It seems mostly about slime moulds (Myxomycetes) and fungi, particularly at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen and wider Norfolk — the daughter & I are fascinated by them.

Colour descriptions for slime moulds and fungi are taken from the Danish Mycology Society’s colour chart (link opens a PDF in a new tab).

Since December 2023 I have been using an Apexel phone clip with an LED fill light and 100mm macro lens attachment for macro photography. Earlier this year I started using the Apexel VideoRig 2 with my Pixel 6 phone together with the the macro lens and the Apexel LensLight.

The header cartoon on the Home page is by Roger Whitfield.

The font is Lexend and is self-hosted.

The platform is WordPress – self-hosted – running a custom theme by me.
